This podcast from November 2016 shows Professor Peterson’s very well developed thinking on important aspects of life, such as myth and religion. He is perhaps the key figure right now fighting a real life battle over whether truth or social justice will prevail as the foundational reason for existence of today’s universities, and otherwise prototyping processes. He even says that the way universities are operating today is a sign that they have outlived their usefulness.
A 13 minute riff that I really liked is below. He talks about why a person’s past can haunt them. Listen to it for a taste of the ancient value he is bringing to many people today.
I think the best overview of Jordan Peterson’s explanation of myth is this interview here.
